this pub is very traditional. the landlady, cheryl, provided a warm welcome. i appreciated the car park right outside the pub. i found entertainment on saturday afternoonwith rugby.
i found the distance between the bedroom and the shared bathroom and toilet a bit inconvenient.

The mattress proved subpar. I noted its lack of support. I discovered the shower drain did not function correctly. The sluggish drainage resulted in standing water, I consider this unacceptable. This issue requires immediate attention from maintenance.

The pub itself had A lovely traditional atmosphere. A good range of beers and lagers were available. There IS also a residents kitchen upstairs. The room I stayed in was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean.
The window did not close properly , allowing cold air IN. Only one electrical socket was in the room. There was no kettle or tea bags provided, the absence was noticeable. There were only four television channels available.
